Today's Youth, Tomorrow's Leaders: Announcing the 2024 EmpowerLA Youth Conference

The Department of Neighborhood Empowerment (DONE) is proud to announce applications for the 2024 EmpowerLA Youth Conference are now open!
On Saturday, January 27, 2024, DONE will host 50 young people from across Los Angeles to participate in a one-day event focused on civic engagement, local leadership, and community engagement. Participants will learn about the history and purpose of the Neighborhood Council system, explore the policies and procedures that govern Neighborhood Councils, and gain valuable leadership and community engagement skills.
