ELECTIONS At the recommendation of the Neighborhood Council Review Commission, the SNC decided at the January 2008 meeting to let the LA City Clerk's office handle the next election. At the February 2008 meeting the board decided to have all 21 seats up for re-election at the next election planned for June 2010. The election will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010, 1-7pm at the Sylmar Recreation Center, 13109 Borden Ave, Sylmar, 91342.

If you want to make a difference, seriously consider running. The election will be conducted by the City Clerk. HE HAVE HELD MONTHLY MEETINGS, 2nd TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH. WE HAVE GIVEN STAKEHOLDERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPRESS THEIR CONCERNS. WE HAVE MADE RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE EXECUTIVE BOARD) on THEIR BEHALF OR GUIDED THEM TO WHAT SERVICE THEY NEED TO BE REFERRED TO. I RECENTLY CO-CHAIRED THE "RACE FOR. YOUTH" GO-CA.R.T RACE BETWEEN, POLICE, FIRE AND CIVILIANS – PROCEEDS FOR MISSION COMMUNITY POLICE EXPLORER PROGRAM. GREAT ENTHUSIASM AND PARTICIPATION. I WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE WORKING FOR SIMILAR PROGRAMS. I ALSO CHAIRED THE VETERAN PARADE FOP THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY - WE HAD A PICKUP WITH OUR VETERANS.
