Coordinated by the Natural Areas Division, the Nature in your Neighborhood Community Campfires are multilingual interpretive nature programs that take place at a local County of Los Angeles Parks to make learning about the environment and connecting with nature more assessable to all. Topics may include wildlife, plants, geology, ecology, and local history. Activities may include live animal presentations, campfire songs, games, traditional storytelling, and cultural activities. Enjoy treats, learn something new, heal and connect with the community around the campfire. The program also includes a health and wellness resource fair. Open to all ages!
