Sylmar Neighborhood Council Proud & Honored

The Sylmar Neighborhood Council is proud to announce that after a year-long courtship and the fact that this incredible young man has now come of age. Sylmar Council President, Kurt Cabrera-Miller appointed Roy Li to the Neighborhood Council and his appointment was unanimously approved by the entire Council. 

Roy Li is intelligent, caring, ambitious, and a community-minded individual he's been excited about serving his community of Sylmar as well as the entire City of Los Angeles for over a year now. Mr. Roy Li has just turned 14 years of age which is the beginning age for someone to be Elected or Appointed to the Sylmar Neighborhood Council.

The Sylmar Neighborhood Council was honored to have Carmen Chang General Manager for the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment perform the Swearing-In.

Congratulations Roy, we look forward to you being on the Council and all the great things that you will accomplish!
