Frankenstein opens May 16
TICKETS ON SALE NOW
Frankenstein will be presented in the LA Mission College AMP Theater from May 16-25. Tickets start at $10
Tickets are now on sale for the LA Mission College Theatre Arts spring production, Frankenstein, an original adaptation of Mary Shelley's classic science fiction novel, adapted and directed by Robert Cucuzza.
In this original adaptation, a team of students, instructors, and guest artists collaborate to create a theatrical event that pulls one of the original science fiction stories into the present day. Employing a dynamic set inspired by the work of Russian Bauhaus painter, Wassily Kandinsky, twelve actors bring Shelley’s heart-wrenching tale of horror to vivid life. With an eclectic soundtrack that features music by Portishead and David Bowie, Black Pumas and Chicano Batman, and 1950s doo-wop hits, LA Mission Theatre orchestrates an eerie explosion of eye- and ear-popping influences to create a theatrical world that reflects our current American identity crisis.
