Sylmar - Memorial Day Event / Monday, May 25th, 2026

Pioneer Memorial Cemetery Event: The San Fernando Valley Historical Society and the Marine Corps League (Detachment #1277) are hosting their annual event at Pioneer Cemetery, 14451 Bledsoe St., Sylmar, CA 91342. (corner of Blesoe Street and Foothill Blvd.) (MAP)

Monday, May 25th, 2026, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm

Gates open at 10:00 AM, and the ceremony runs from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. (Parking is limited)

It will feature a flag ceremony, rifle salute, wreath laying, and a live performance of "Taps".
