The VictimConnect Resource Center is a confidential, anonymous helpline operated by the National Center for Victims of Crime that supports all crime victims across the United States.
Unlike many specialized hotlines that focus on a single offense, VictimConnect is a comprehensive, general-crime resource. The most common types of victimization and crimes handled by their specialists include:
  • Stalking
  • Non-sexual harassment
  • Intimate partner / domestic violence
  • Identity theft, fraud, and economic crimes
  • Physical assault and attempted homicide
  • Sexual assault and abuse
  • Homicide and vehicular/impaired driving crashes (supporting surviving family members) CRT focus

The VictimConnect Resource Center is a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week, anonymous, and confidential hotline where victims and survivors of crime can receive support, information, and referral options confidentially and compassionately. Victim assistance specialists receive extensive training and mentoring to provide emotional support, information, and referrals that empower visitors as they navigate the physical, emotional, legal, and financial impacts of crime.

Crime victims can learn about their rights and options confidentially and compassionately. They provide local and national resources, including financial support and legal services, categorized by crime type. Access the VictimConnect Resource Map here and the Tribal Resource Tool here.
