The City of Los Angeles Commission on Disability invites community members to provide comments in a public hearing on the development of the Citywide Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan.
The City is reviewing its programs, services, activities, facilities, communications, and information to identify barriers that may affect people with disabilities. Public input will help the City identify what is working well, where accessibility improvements are needed, and priorities for the City's ADA Transition Plan.

Community members are encouraged to participate and will have an opportunity to provide public comment directly to the Commission during the meeting or in writing prior to the meeting.

You may provide public comment directly to the Commission on Disability during the September 17, 2026, Public Hearing.
You may submit a public comment to the Commission in advance using the Public Hearing Comment Form. Comments submitted through the Public Hearing Comment Form will be included in the Public Hearing agenda packet for Commissioner review.

The public hearing is one part of the City of Los Angeles' Citywide ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan public input process.
To provide more detailed public input, complete the Citywide ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan Public Input Survey. The survey provides an opportunity to share your experiences with City programs, services, activities, facilities, communications, and information. Comments provided through the survey will be included as an appendix to the Citywide ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan, which will be shared with the Commission on Disability.
