Wet weather is on its way, and now is the time to make sure your pets are ready!
Heavy rain can bring flooding, mud, debris, power outages, and other hazards that can put animals at risk. Before the first big storm, make sure pets are safely indoors, their microchip and ID information is up to date, and you have an emergency kit with food, water, medications, leashes, carriers, and copies of important records.
A little preparation now can make a big difference when the weather turns. Stay weather-aware, know your evacuation options, and have a plan for every member of your family—including the four-legged ones.
