One person was rushed to a hospital Sunday after a crash involving two vehicles and two semi-trucks on the Golden State (5) Freeway in Sylmar, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 6:45 a.m. Sunday on the southbound freeway at the San Fernando Mission Boulevard off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At least one of the vehicles involved overturned.
Paramedics rushed the victim to Dignity Health-Northridge Hospital Medical Center, the CHP said. The person’s condition was not immediately available.
At least two lanes of the southbound freeway remained blocked as of 10 a.m.
