The Sylmar Neighborhood Council extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude to Councilwoman Rodriguez, Assemblywoman Rodriguez, Congresswoman Rivas, the LAFD, and everyone whose hard work, dedication, and determination are helping make a much-needed new fire station for our community a reality.
For far too long, our community has needed the resources and facilities necessary to ensure that our residents, families, businesses, and first responders are properly protected. This fire station represents a significant investment in the safety and future of our community.
As we all know, this achievement did not happen overnight. It took leadership, persistence, collaboration, and a commitment to putting the safety of our residents first. The hard work and advocacy that went into securing this investment will have a lasting impact on our community for generations to come.
A new fire station is more than a building—it is a commitment to public safety, stronger emergency response, and a safer future for everyone who calls our community of Sylmar home.
Thank you to all of those who continually work tirelessly to make this important investment possible.
Our community is safer and stronger because of your efforts, and we are deeply grateful.
Sincerely,
Sylmar Neighborhood Council
