Stay safe in an emergency with Genasys Protect. Get real-time evacuation zones, hazard alerts, and safety information straight from your local officials.

Genasys Protect makes it simple to find your zone and easily check its status to help keep you informed and safe.

The purpose of Genasys Protect is to provide the community with a public-facing platform to view the status of their zone. Emergency responders update the status of zones to communicate their appropriate level to the public.

Knowing your zone is critical to staying safe during a public safety emergency such as a wildfire, flood, tsunami, hurricane, earthquake, or active shooter incident. Zones will be used in emergency alert notifications to clearly communicate who is impacted by an emergency and what actions should be taken.

How to Use the Map

Visit the website: Go to Genasys Protect or open the mobile app.
Search your location: Type your full address into the search bar at the top left, or share your current location.
Find your zone: Your neighborhood or property will be outlined with a zone ID and status.
Check the panel: The left side panel displays active evacuation orders, warnings, road closures, and weather updates.

Zone Color Meanings

Red (Evacuation Order): Immediate threat to life. Leave now.
Yellow (Evacuation Warning): Potential threat. Prepare to leave or leave early if you need extra time.
Purple (Shelter in Place): Go indoors, lock doors and windows, and stay put.
Blue (Advisory): Be alert and follow local recommendations.
Light Green (Evacuation Order Lifted): Safe to return home with caution.
White (Normal): No active public safety incidents.
