NOTICE - May Sediment extension

The Sylmar Neighborhood Council has been notified by LA County Public Works that the hauling operation extension at the May Sediment Placement Site (SPS) in Sylmar (map-1).  Due to issues with rental equipment procurement and weather, the sediment hauling operation from Stevenson Ranch Debris Basin in Unincorporated LA County (map-2) to May SPS has been delayed.  The initial project’s completion date in December has been extended to late-January.  Please note that the late-January completion date allows for some cushion in case they experience additional unforeseen delays, but they expect to complete the hauling within the next two weeks.

All work is still scheduled to occur Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, and they are not anticipating any work occurring on weekends or holidays.
