Members of the Sylmar Neighborhood Council were honored to join other elected officials and our City's community leaders as Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass delivered the State of the City 2026. To set the tone for a year focused on hosting major events, including the FIFA World Cup and the Super Bowl, and on preparing for the Olympics.

Largely focusing on preparations for major upcoming global events, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup,2027 Super Bowl, and 2028 Olympics, while highlighting city unity, infrastructure, and safety improvements.
