Sylmar Business Roof Collapse - NO injury

The roof of a day spa in Sylmar collapsed early Wednesday morning because of a water leak, officials said.

The Los Angeles Fire Department sent an engine to the location at 13241 N. Gladstone Avenue around 1 a.m. (April 1, 2026) for a non-emergency response after a caller reported a possible roof collapse.

Crews found the roof of the Zen Day Spa partially collapsed and shut off the sources of water before calling in the Los Angeles Building and Safety and Water and Power departments, an LAFD spokeswoman said.

No injuries were reported.
