Need help paying your energy and water bills? There's up to $5,000 tax-free available for eligible income-qualified households to help pay utility bills - up to $3,000 through LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) and up to $2,000 through LIHWAP (Low Income Household Water Assistance Program) - with no impact to other benefits and public charge determinations.

Your household must meet income requirements. The applicant can be anyone living in your home, must be 18+ years, and have a social security number. Benefit amounts may vary.
