Recruitment for the 2025-26 Civil Grand Jury is now open. The deadline to submit an application is November 1, 2024.
The Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, is currently seeking qualified citizens who are interested in applying for the Los Angeles County Civil Grand Jury.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
Investigates county, city, and joint-power agencies
Acts as “watchdog” by thoroughly examining the operations of various government agencies within Los Angeles County:
WILLING TO VOLUNTEER FOR 12 MONTHS, MONDAY TO FRIDAY, GENERALLY FROM 9:00 A.M. TO 4:00 P.M., AND EARN $60.00 FOR EACH FULL DAY OF SERVICE
QUALIFICATIONS:
US Citizen
- 18 years or older
- Resident of Los Angeles County for at least one year
- Possess sound judgment and fair character
- Working knowledge of the English language
- Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles Grand Jury Administration
