Our City neighbors of San Fernando - 
San Fernando Police Arrested two suspects For  Commercial Burglary and attempting to make an explosive device 
SFPD arrested Brian Felix (34) of Agoura Hills and Cody Knowland (37) of Hemet early morning on Sunday, Feb., 4 at 5:15 am. 
The local police department responded to a report of a commercial burglary in progress at the Home Depot at 12960 on Foothill Blvd in San Fernando. (Near Foothill/Maclay, Sylmar)
At the location, police found the two men seated inside a parked vehicle.
In a news release, SFPD reported finding firearms, five suspected stolen propane tanks, black gunpowder, a homemade explosive device, and an assortment of burglary tools inside the vehicle. 
 The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department Bomb Squad responded to the scene and successfully neutralized the explosive.  
The two men were arrested and booked at the SFPD station on various charges - including a felon having a firearm, a felon being in possession of ammunition, attempted commercial burglary, possession of burglary tools, carrying a concealed weapon inside a vehicle, and attempting to manufacture a destructive explosive device without a permit.
San Fernando Police Department will route their investigation to the LA County District Attorney’s Office for criminal filing.
