On Saturday, November 22nd, the Sylmar Neighborhood Council, in partnership with WONDERFUL volunteers, community groups & community leaders, elected officials, and city departments, participated in Shine-LA! We were honored to be joined by the Mayor's office, Assemblywoman Celeste Rodriguez, President of Public Works Steve Kang, LAFD, Sylmar Graffiti Busters, members of the Sylmar Neighborhood Council, and Pacoima Neighborhood Council.
Shine-LA is an initiative from Mayor Karen Bass. This initiative helps to foster a community day of service, bringing beautification projects, civic pride, and overall unity within the community.
Shine-LA + Sylmar = Success!
