Did you know the Pacoima Dam can store an amazing 1.98 billion gallons of water? That's enough to fill more than 4000 Olympic-sized swimming pools! But right now, it's facing a challenge.

Sediment buildup from wildfires and storms has reduced this massive water storage capacity by more than half. The Pacoima Reservoir Restoration Project is on a mission to change that!

The Project’s Phase 1 will remove enough sediment to restore approximately 300 million gallons of storage capacity to Pacoima Reservoir. Phase 2 will go even further, restoring an estimated 400 - 800 million gallons of additional storage capacity. To learn more, visit PacoimaProject.com.
